The GREATEST SUPER-TEAM you’ve never heard of!

SUPER GORILLAS vs the ALL-AMERICAN VICTORY LEGION #1 features:

"MEET THE ALL-AMERICAN VICTORY LEGION!" Introduction by Paul Kupperberg

"MONKEY TRIAL" Mayor LaGuardia is snatched by a motley crew of super gorillas in the middle of Times Square! Who could be behind this nefarious act? Could it be Hitler? The All-American Victory Legion must split up and search the ends of the earth for the answer!

"TIME OUT OF MIND" When the Victory Legion finds themselves strangers in a strange land, they struggle to return to where they belong. But how can they do that when they have no memory of their superheroic lives?

The All-American Victory Legion is based on characters from the short-lived publisher, Centaur Comics (1938-1942). Best known for being the home to the legendary Bill Everett creation, Amazing-Man, Centaur Comics also gave birth to a host of Golden Age heroes, many of which have become fan favorites. Thanks to their status as characters public domain (i.e., no longer under copyright), the Centaur heroes have been reinvented over and over by fans for ‘zines and comics from independent publishers ever since their “rediscovery” in the 1960s. In 2010, Alan was commissioned by a fan to create these stories.

SUPER GORILLAS vs the ALL-AMERICAN VICTORY LEGION #1 is a 40 page color comic extravaganza! The comic will not be available in stores, only through mail order.
